A Career Coach’s Guide to Building an Irresistible Professional Brand

Section 1: The Visual First Impression

Coach's Tip: You have 7 seconds to make an impression. Your headline and photo do 80% of the heavy lifting for your Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Formula: [Job Title] | [Top 3 Skills] | [Value Proposition or Metric]
Instructions: Edit Public Profile > Edit URL. Remove the random numbers at the end.

Section 2: The "About" Section (Your Story)

Coach's Tip: Write in the 1st person ("I"). The first two lines are the "Hook"—they appear before the "See More" button. Make them count.

Section 3: Experience & The XYZ Formula

Coach's Tip: Don't list duties. List achievements. Use the Google-approved formula:
"Accomplished [X] as measured by [Y], by doing [Z]."

Section 4: The Algorithm Boost

These 3 skills should appear in the 'Skills' section top pinned spots.
What visual proof can you add to your 'Featured' section?

Section 5: Final Launch Checklist

  • Profile Photo: High-res, smiling, neutral background, professional attire.
  • Banner Image: No more "Default Blue." Represents my industry or value.
  • Creator Mode: Turned ON if I plan to share content; hashtags updated.
  • Recommendations: I have requested at least 2 recommendations from past managers/peers.
  • Contact Info: My email and personal website are up to date.
